Cédric’s timeless Royal Enfield

The simple mention of Royal Enfield suggests travel, adventure and large spaces to aficionados (or not) of the British motorcycle firm. That’s the state of mind Cédric wanted to get into when he got in touch with BAAK for his custom project.

The Royal Enfield Classic 500 owners know it, with their tiny 500cm3 monocylinders, these are solid motorcycles with which ones you enjoy riding 70 km/h, ride into dirt tracks as often as you can, go on a road trip to get out of the routine. Cédric’s dream bike had to be multi-tasks, timeless, pillion passenger friendly and smooth to ride. His research let him decide to go for a Royal Enfield Classic 500 EFI (Euro IV standards). He wanted a machine with a unique personality, so he entrusted our workshop to help him with that.

Our craftsmen team focused on respecting the original spirit of the Royal Enfield, improving its adventurer look and building a bike that is pleasant to ride in any conditions. Some parts with a raw aspect (gas tank, mudguards) are mixed with the classy leather touch of the seat, bag and strap on the motorcycle, creating a contrast that suits this motorcycle style. Cédric aimed at sharing his passion with his wife, so we built a removable leather pillion seat, and used an high compression piston kit to provide stronger power and torque for a better security while riding. The shock absorbers were also replaced by 2Win ones co-designed with Shock Factory so that he can adjust it depending on wether he rides solo or not. Once the pillion seat is removed, the owner can take advantages of the rear rack to pack some stuff when travelling. This will be completed by a wide side leather saddlebag in the future so Cédric can go on road trips with this unique machine we built for him.
