Arnaud’s Triumph Bonneville T100 LA MACHINE

Arnaud is an architect. He has a particular taste for creative things, and once he got his driving license he couldn’t find a motorcycle that fits his search for singularity. Then he entrusted our custom workshop to design this unique Triumph Bonneville T100 La Machine for him.

Arnaud is a busy man, we never met and co-designed his project by phone exclusively. Through his job, he’s particularly good at expressing his vision of the kind of motorcycle he was interested in, it was easy to agree about the style. As a freshly licensed biker, he had to go for the Triumph Bonneville T100.

We chose to play with the contrast between glossy and brushed on this project. The gas tank and side cover were brushed, and the first coat of varnish let the brushed texture visible. The darker parts of the tank hide this brushed effect and strongly change its shape and offer it a different dynamic. The seat also mixes different textures, with plain leather and suede. Arnaud wanted a motorcycle that is easy to use and offers character.

We suggested this re-design of our La Machine model, which includes the best parts designed and manufactured by our team: Flat triples trees, machined aluminium handlebar controls, Bates headlight with integrated mini speedometer, short bobber exhaust, short leather seat kit…
