Showcase of a know-how

BAAK presents its second creation on 4 wheels. After the Austin Morris, we deliver our first Defender Phase III. Entirely restored in our workshops, the Land Rover Defender range is customizable with parts from the catalog which includes body parts, upholstery, dashboard, paint and accessories. This first Defender is a 90 TD4 soft top, has been completely stripped down and restored by the workshop’s craftsmen. All the trades that make up and animate BAAK have been put to work: design office, research department, boiler making, saddlery, paint shop, clothing. All the know-how is injected into this Land Rover Defender.

Did you say personalized?

Now available in the catalog in the same way as our motorcycles and customizable, our customer made his choices according to the catalog, imagined and deployed for specifically for Phases III. This Defender then receives widened custom fender flares, a front grille, headlight surrounds, but also all the upholstery elements as well as a “Riva” type dump floor, also entirely made in our Lyon workshops. The exterior body elements are painted in the same color as the body, the rims in the canvas.

The masterpiece of this Defender, the dashboard has been completely reworked. Made of aluminum and leather, it is meticulously assembled by hand. The structure of the dashboard was designed and then modeled to be finally produced by our boilermaker. Assembled, it is covered with leather, button plates that add to the overall design. The natural braid, which composes the floor mats as well as the back of the front seat is present in the glove box. The leather elements, such as the door jambs, the upholstery or the gussets, are cut and worked in the same quality leathers that BAAK has at heart to maintain.
