Triumph Thruxton 1200 (2016 – …)
SPECIFIC TECHNICAL FEATURES OF THE MODEL: Triumph Thruxton 1200 (2016 – …). These details will help you check wether BAAK parts are suitable for your motorcycle.
The Triumph Thruxton 1200 is the evolution of the previous air-cooled 900cm3 model produced until 2016. It’s part of the Modern Classic line of the British manufacturer. Triumph offers the Standard version (conventional fork) and R version (inverted fork – shock absorbers with separate tank). Both models are offered in various colors and have two front brake discs.
- HANDLEBARS: The models R and Standard have Ø25,4mm diameter clip-on handlebars and controls, with an electronic Ride-by-Wire throttle. The upper triple yoke isn’t pre-drilled to fir clamps in classic high position. A BAAK Long cables kit (front brake hose extension / clutch cable) is available for these models. In case you have heated grips mounted on, make sure to select a pre-drilled / cut handlebar to relocate the heated grips system, or plan to do the job by yourself on a classic handlebar.
- WHEELS: The original spoked wheels of the two models have the following measurements: Front 17′ / Rear 17′.
- TURN INDICATORS: The original turn indicators provide 10W of power, you can’t fit 21W blinkers on this motorcycle.
- SHOCK ABSORBERS: All the Thruxton 1200 models have original 380mm long shock absorbers.
