Aurelien’s Leather briefcase: Customer testimony
Because there is nothing more genuine that a true testimony from a user, here is what Aurelien owner of the first leather pannier has to say about it. He chose the brown leather briefcase to accessories his Royal Enfield. Aurelien commissioned BAAK to customized a Interceptor 650 into a Rambler directly in our workshop in Lyon showing that it is absolutely possible to enjoy a BAAK bike when you’re new to the riding world.
“I’m Aurelien, 40, and living in the Paris area. I currently own a Royal Infield Interceptor 650 customized by BAAK into a Rambler. One of the accessories that really decided me to go down this direction was the Leather Briefcase (in Aged Brown). I’m the actual first customer to have one so Remi asked me to share my first impression. For me the bag completely fit within the Classic Rambler style of the bike, and it carries over the same leather as the seat, fork gaiters and small bag on the side cover where I keep a rag and leather cream). In short it completes the overall look and harmony I was looking for this bike.
I actually got 2 briefcases, I use both for the week end getaways in Normandy with my wife for exemple, it is very handy to go grocery shopping once we reach our destination or go to the beach. And back in the city each bag has it function: the right one is my everyday bag to go to the office and I carry my laptop, notebook and files. It is so convenient to put it on and off the bike with just a click. The left bag contains my gym gear but I don’t carry it everyday.
Also, being the proud father of 3 sons, I more and more sensitive to the engagements of brands I chose to support, especially those that are proudly keeping their production in France and employing craftsman and women to keep their know how and techniques alive. I didn’t want a “trendy” briefcase that would go out of style after a year but rather something timeless and durable. I also wanted something that could be used on another bike if needed. These bag actually tick all the boxes and will be with me for a long time and I’m proud of my choice.

These bags are carefully hand built for each order in Lyon and each bags requires about 8 to 9 hours of work for Marion (depending if it is a briefcase or a roll top). Full of details, these bags are manufactured with gorgeous leather and suede worth of BAAK’s DNA.
We designed these panniers to be compatible with the SW-Motech SLC side carrier. The bottom is reinforced for an optimum protection of your belongings, which is also insured by the sturdy fabric used to lined the interior of the bags.
