How to combine simplicity and pleasure

Friend of our team since long time, Yann was riding a carburetors Bonneville 900 until Triumph revealed the new Bonneville T120. Since then, he kept the idea of switching to another bike in mind, he entrusted this project to our workshop.

Yann had strongly improved his old Bonneville since he owned it. When Triumph revealed the Bonneville T120 and its 1200cm3engine, it was love at first sight. After longs months of brainstorming, he finally went ahead, sold his old Bonnie and got the new modern one. First, he wanted his T120 to be transformed the exact same way as his previous build, but we made him understand that he had to take the risk to start from scratch to get a fully satisfying project and move forward. He had a blind trust in our work but kept on eye on the project as he was used to spending time at our place every week.

To lighten the price of the project, we chose to focus on the essential parts so the bike can provide as much feelings as his previous one. Visually purified, easier to handle, more pleasant to hear and look at, this machine was finally way different from the stock Bonneville T120 after a few weeks spent at our workshop, and it already provides good riding feelings to his owner. This is the way we mix simplicity and riding pleasure at BAAK’s.
