Starting on two wheels with a Royal Enfield Continental

Walter didn’t have his driving license when we met. He wanted to entrust the creation of his first ride to our workshop, and challenged us to end his bike before he succeed in his driving license test. We met the challenge, but Walter is still the winner as he now rides this great Royal Enfield we created for him.

In 2014, Royal Enfield Motorcycles revealed a modern version of his Continental GT. Moved by a 535cm3 monocylinder, it lookls like it’s the perfect ride for the beginners who want to ride an unconventional motorcycle : easy to handle, with an consistant behavior, and a great cafe racer look. This is the bike Walter chose, but there was no way he keep it in the original configuration. We aimed at re-interpreting this Continental GT into an elegant tracker with sharp lines, while keeping a classic look.

A wide fatbar handlebar with machined clamps replaces the original semi-handlebars to provide a comfortable driving position, just like the flat leather bespoke seat we created. This ride is sober, none-exuberant, the wheels, fork tubes, and body were both painted in glossy black colour. Many discreet details come to highlight the centric part of the creation, the Royal Enfield monocylinder that is the masterpiece of this bike, whose sound gets improved by our stainless steel and aluminium exhaust line.
